What is traQRecord?
traQRecord is a browser-based, offline-first QR lead retrieval tool for event organizers. Exhibitors scan attendee QR codes with their own phones, and each exhibitor receives only its own structured lead data. It is developed by EMG Global.
Do exhibitors or attendees need to install an app?
No. Each exhibitor opens a private scanner link in a normal phone browser. Attendees only need the QR code they received when they registered.
What happens if the venue Wi-Fi or mobile signal fails?
Scanning continues. Every scan is saved on the phone first and synchronized automatically once a connection returns, so a crowded hall with weak signal does not cause lost leads.
Do we have to replace our registration system?
No. traQRecord works alongside the registration workflow you already run. It is a focused lead retrieval layer, not a full event management platform.
Can one exhibitor see another exhibitor's leads?
No. Every scanner link belongs to one exhibitor, and leads are separated by exhibitor from the moment they are captured. The QR code itself carries only an anonymous attendee ID, not personal data.
Can exhibitors ask a qualifying question when they scan?
Yes. An exhibitor can present one tap-to-select question, such as campus, country or program, before scanning. The selection resets after every scan so an answer never carries over to the next visitor.
How is traQRecord priced?
Per event, never per scan. Organizers either offer traQRecord as an optional paid exhibitor upgrade and set their own resale price, or include it for every exhibitor under one fixed event fee. Each event is quoted based on exhibitor count and requirements.
Which events is traQRecord designed for?
Medium to large events with exhibitor floors that run every year: education and study-abroad fairs, career fairs, trade shows, expos and association conferences.
